Introduction:
- The world is been classified in many terms like developed, developing or underdeveloped nations when we talk about poverty or the economic situation of the world.
- The strong economies are said to be developed, the stable economies are said developing and the countries in whom the survival of people regarding their livelihood is on stake are said underdeveloped.
- The developed countries have some issues which show their situation in the list.
- The improvement in the living standards, availability of enough food, shelter, water, clothing, health, education ,etc.
Till today humanity is living every day to find all these few things. Every person born on the Earth has the right to have all these things in his life. Those who are not able to get all these things are said to be poor. The World poverty is estimated by World Bank:
- 1.4 billion people live at the poverty line and below(estimation of 2010)
- this is more than previous estimate of 2004 which says on 984 million are on this
The data also does not reflect the recent global food crisis and rising cost of energy, which is feared will bring another 100 million into poverty.
INEQUALITY:
- Inequality in Industrial nations
the countries like USA, Canada, UK, Japan are good in the case of industries as they all are said to be the manufacturing economies of the world. They have good support of their industries against poverty but other countries like Bangladesh, Kenya, Iraq, Afghanistan are not even at the initial stage to start their industries and go out to the economy. Here comes the inequality among the world because these countries don't have that support to fight their needs and the countries are going down against poverty.
- Inequality in the cities around the world
This stands for the state of every country where few cities are good in the race against the poverty and their incomes and development are good but in the same country there used to many cities which are not able to do the same. in such cities the living standard of the people is low as compared to the others. here poverty rises in such cities.
- Inequality in rural areas
The rural society in the largest share holder in the poverty through out the world. The rural classified areas are said to be poor because the living conditions of such areas are miserable and not worth living. The increase in the rural share leads to the population of a particular area is not able to fight against their needs and are not able to earn the required life.
- Inequality between genders
Inequality between genders lead to the difference in the value of the women of the modern world in the competition of men. In countries like Afghanistan and India where old thinking of people still exist and there are restrictions on the women to work for their own. If women are working still they are not getting the same respect as compared to the men. This needs to be changed is the poverty is to be evacuated. Still in world incentives are not equal for men and women. women are paid less and this leads to the decrease in their prosperity of life.
Like we say a healthy mind stays in a healthy body, a wealthy nation stays with healthy nation. If the people in a particular country are served best with respect to their health automatically the impact of good health will change the poverty level of the society of that country. The health is the first priority for every person is to have a healthy body and a healthy nation is to provide best healthcare to their society. But the health care facilities are so miserable in many countries. This is also the impact of poverty through out the world.
